Emily grew up near Seattle, WA but spent many years in education and early career, testing out the waters in different cities all over the country. She did her seminary work at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and has loved being settled in the Boulder area the last six years. Emily is married to Jon, mom of 3 year old Owen, 11 month old Norah, and one more little girl on the way. She'd love to get to know you over coffee or a walk in Boulder soon! Devon is a fifth year student making his way toward a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He hails from the great state of Oregon and loves to run, hike, camp, and do all things outdoors. Mitchell is a third year PhD student in the department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. He was born in California, but lived in Nashville, Tennessee for 12 years before moving to Colorado. His interests range from climbing and hiking to music and woodworking. Danielle (she/her) is a fourth year PhD student in mechanical engineering. Although she was born in Seoul, she's lived in many different states including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Missouri, and now Colorado! Her interests are just as varied and ever-changing, but right now her top 3 are watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, sunset walks, and sleeping. At GCF, Danielle manages the mailing list, events calendar, and enjoys providing support wherever help is needed.
